The shell is made from 100% mulberry silk and finished with a cotton lining. Decorative beadwork and crystal-look accents are applied as trim rather than printed decoration. The structured silk has limited stretch, so accurate measurements are important for comfort and drape.

How Is It Made?

Every decorative bead and crystal-look accent is positioned and secured by hand along the collar and side line. The cape panels are hand-cut to preserve the jacquard pattern, then finished with a softly curved hem and discreet fastening. Minor variations in bead spacing are part of the hand-finished character of the piece.

A Note on Sizing — Please Read Before You Order

Silk and structured brocade have very little stretch, and complex handmade construction can be costly to alter. Getting the size right is the single biggest factor in how this piece looks and feels on your dog.

Please measure neck, chest, and back length with a soft tape before ordering. Even a small difference can noticeably affect the fit. The weight range is only a guide; body measurements should take priority.

If your dog is a whippet, dachshund, corgi, or another breed with a short-legged, long-backed, deep-chested, or otherwise distinctive shape, the standard sizes may not follow their proportions well. Please contact us before ordering so we can recommend a standard size or create a separate custom-order consultation. Custom orders are confirmed individually and follow the custom-order policy shown below.

Care Instructions

Follow the care label supplied with the garment. For embellished silk and brocade pieces, professional dry cleaning is preferred. For a small spot, blot gently with cool water and a silk-safe mild detergent; do not bleach, soak, wring, tumble dry, or iron directly over beadwork and closures. Air dry flat away from direct heat and sunlight, then store flat or in a breathable garment bag.

Safety

This is a fashion garment, not a restraint, harness, or flotation device. Use only under supervision. Remove it before sleep, crating, rough play, or any activity in which trim could snag. Stop use if the garment restricts breathing or movement, causes overheating or irritation, or if any bead, charm, closure, or seam becomes loose. Keep detached decorative parts away from pets and children.

Returns, Exchanges & Custom Orders

Standard-size items may be returned within 30 days after delivery. The garment must be clean, unworn beyond a careful fitting, free of pet hair and odour, and returned with its original tags and packaging. We support one first-time size exchange; any shipping charges that apply are stated in our current Return Policy before you send the item. Please contact us before returning anything so we can provide the correct instructions.

For a custom order, measurements and details must be confirmed before production begins. Once production has started, a custom item cannot be returned because an incorrect measurement or size was supplied. This does not limit support for a verified defect or an error made by Panco.

Processing & Shipping to the United States

Orders are processed in 1–3 business days and ship directly from our workshop in China. Estimated transit time to the United States is 7–12 business days after dispatch. Tracking is provided when the order ships. These are delivery estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates, so please allow extra time for a wedding, holiday, portrait session, customs review, carrier disruption, or remote destination.
