Is the Fabric Gentle on Your Dog’s Skin?

The main panel is mulberry-silk brocade, paired with smooth sky-blue silk at the piping, closure, and ruffled hem. The fabric is breathable and gentle against the coat, but the woven brocade has very little stretch. Accurate measurements are therefore more reliable than weight alone.

How Is It Made?

The patterned panels are hand-cut, the asymmetric edge is carefully piped, and the classic pankou-inspired closures are knotted and applied by hand. The ruffle is gathered evenly before being attached to the back hem. Variations in the woven motif or knotting are a natural result of handmade production.

Silk and structured brocade have very little stretch, and complex handmade construction can be costly to alter. Getting the size right is the single biggest factor in how this piece looks and feels on your dog.

Please measure neck, chest, and back length with a soft tape before ordering. Even a small difference can noticeably affect the fit. The weight range is only a guide; body measurements should take priority.

If your dog is a whippet, dachshund, corgi, or another breed with a short-legged, long-backed, deep-chested, or otherwise distinctive shape, standard sizing may not follow their proportions well. We strongly recommend custom sizing. Please provide neck, chest, back length, and leg length in your order notes or to our customer service team.

What If It Doesn’t Fit When It Arrives?

We offer returns and exchanges within 7 days of delivery. If the fit is not right after trying it on, keep the garment clean, unworn beyond the fitting, and with its tags attached, then contact our support team to arrange an exchange or return. Our goal is for you to feel confident ordering a handmade piece.
